When I searched the web for "commercial production", lots of names came up and I wasn't really sure which to trust and which I couldn't trust.  After a lot of clicking the main results, I decided to switch over to the sponsored results which on Google appear on the right side of the page in little boxes.

I found that the first 10 or so results seemed a lot more professional than the ones that I was finding in the main searches.  The logic behind it is that if they are paying to advertise, chances are their companies are a lot more successful and in turn professional than the other results.

I was able to find three different companies that seemed to appeal to me.  I wound up going with Joshua New Media.  I liked a few things about this company.  One, they listed prices right on their site, I didn't have to email them for a quote.  Two, they had samples of some of their commercials on their site. Three, I was able to get a commercial shot on professional level video for $650.

Some other company's seemed decent as well.  I nearly went with Commercial Mayhem, but I didn't have a high enough budget to afford their film services.  I saw that some of the other articles mentioned Commercial Creator, which I later found out was owned in part by Joshua New Media.  They offered text, graphic, music, and voiceover based commercials that seemed pretty decent for the price (starting at $399 which is pretty unheard of in any other company I found online or through the phone book).

All in all, the internet holds many options for people looking to advertise.  I was really happy with the direction my commercial took and the results of the ad.  It was a really positive experience all around.
